What to Bring

Dorm Rooms

  • Bed Linens - Regular twin sheets, blankets, comforter/quilt, egg crate or mattress pad (optional)

  • Towels

  • Trash can

  • Alarm Clock

  • Laundry basket

  • HE Laundry soap/quarters - washers and dryers are both coin operated
    (50 cents per wash/dry)

  • Toiletries - Shampoo/Conditioner, Body Soap, Deodorant, any additional personal healthcare needs

  • Decorations - posters/pictures (use picture putty or command strips) photos/pictures must meet Christian standards

  • Appliances - each room is allowed 1 refrigerator and 1 microwave

School Supplies

  • College ruled notebooks (4 or 5)

  • College ruled loose leaf paper 

  • Mechanical pencils

  • Pens (black or blue)

  • Backpack

  • Clothing - Please refer to the dress code section of the yearbook

Sports Teams

Ladies trying out for a sports team or gymnastics: bring spandex that can be worn under your shorts.

What NOT to Bring

  • No weapons - guns, knives, chains, etc

  • No halogen lamps

  • No candle warmers, incense burners, lighters, matches or fireworks

  • No irons (one is provided in each dorm)

  • No appliances such as hot plates, toaster, toaster oven, coffee makers, etc

  • No large stereo systems

  • No televisions

  • No dvds or videos

  • No jewelry

  • No nails for hanging pictures

  • No bright fingernail/toenail polish - clear/pink/light nudes are acceptable

  • No permanent wall fixtures (wallpaper, paint, stickers)

  • No tobacco, vaping or alcohol
