We are thrilled to announce the speaker for “Let’s Gather Together”, Alumni Weekend 2023.

Ron Clark, Class of 1973, met his wife, Teresa, their Senior year at Sunnydale. After attending Andrews University for 2 years, they were married in 1975. Ron graduated from Southern Missionary College with a Physical Education major, and art & religion minors. Ron had the privilege of teaching school at Bourbon, MO, Battle Creek Academy, MI, and later, Columbia, MO. Ron loved teaching, but felt called to the Literature Ministry, and served in Missouri and Kentucky, before serving as Publishing Director for the Rwanda Union Mission in Africa. He and his family evacuated during the genocidal war in 1994. After leaving Rwanda, Ron served as Literature Ministry Area Director for Indiana, before being asked to serve at the Review & Herald Publishing Association, then later as Area Director for Literature Ministry in Illinois. In 2015 Ron was asked to serve in Egypt. After returning from Egypt, Ron & Teresa served at the Adventist Community Service Center in St Louis for 2 years before retiring. They treasure their 6 grandchildren and their walks together. Their son, Aaron Clark, is the Senior Pastor for the Cicero Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Indiana, and their daughter, Rachel, is a CT Tech in Silver Spring, MD. Ron and Teresa currently volunteer to serve on the prayer team, and Ron serves as a volunteer for the Message for Today Bible Correspondence School. God is merciful indeed.
